I currently spend six months of the year in Maine. It has been a deep and connective source since childhood, which nourishes this work. The following are plein air oil paintings, created on location. It’s incredibly exciting to work amidst infinite elemental environmental shifts, which are channeled through experience, to brush, to canvas. The result is alive, pulsating, vital, full of light and lyric gesture.
